12 novembre be greenWe live our lives and satisfy our personal desires
without a single clue of how much we've hurt the nature.
The cities are full of endless needs and consumption.
A better city might create a temporary better life for a group of people.
But with a great cost to all of us.
Who's civilized and who's not? Who has the right to determine the others?
Will we find a survival way-out before the planet is devastated?

how horrible a consumerist society is...
environmentally...and mentally...
and how horrible we are to have created it...
check it out here ![]() 8 mars 6 février a temporary stateI was just thinking of this old song from the Corpse Bride
"Tears to Shed"
MAGGOT
What does that whispy little brat have that you don't have double? BLACK WIDOW She can't hold a candle to the beauty of your smile CORPSE BRIDE How about a pulse? MAGGOT Overrated by a mile BLACK WIDOW Overbearing MAGGOT Overblown MAGGOT AND BLACK WIDOW If he only knew the you that we know CORPSE BRIDE (sigh) BLACK WIDOW And that silly little creature isn't wearing his ring MAGGOT And she doesn't play piano MAGGOT AND BLACK WIDOW Or dance MAGGOT Or sing MAGGOT AND BLACK WIDOW No she doesn't compare CORPSE BRIDE But she still breathes air BLACK WIDOW Who cares? MAGGOT Unimportant BLACK WIDOW Overrated MAGGOT Overblown MAGGOT AND BLACK WIDOW If only he could see How special you can be If he only knew the you that we know CORPSE BRIDE If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain If you cut me with a knife it's still the same And I know her heart is beating And I know that I am dead Yet the pain here that I feel Try and tell me it's not real For it seems that I still have a tear to shed MAGGOT The sure redeeming feature From that little creature Is that she's alive BLACK WIDOW Overrated MAGGOT Overblown BLACK WIDOW Everybody know that's just a temporary state Which is cured very quickly when we meet our fate MAGGOT Who cares? BLACK WIDOW Unimportant MAGGOT Overrated BLACK WIDOW Overblown MAGGOT AND BLACK WIDOW If only he could see How special you can be If he only knew the you that we know CORPSE BRIDE If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain In the ice or in the sun it's all the same Yet I feel my heart is aching Though it doesn't beat it's breaking And the pain here that I feel Try and tell me it's not real I know that I am dead Yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed 31 janvier Romeo and Juliet"In the eighth grade my English class had to read Romeo and Juliet. Then for extra credit, Mrs. Snyder made us act out all the parts. Sal Scafarillo was Romeo. As fate would have it, I was Juliet… all the other girls were jealous, but I had a slightly different take. I told Mrs. Snyder that Juliet was an idiot. For starters she falls for the one guy she knows she can’t have, then she blames fate for her own bad decision. Mrs. Snyder explained to me that when fate comes into play choice sometimes goes out the window. At the ripe old age of 13 I was very clear that love like life is about making choices. And fate has nothing to do with it. . Everyone thinks it’s so romantic, Romeo and Juliet, true love, how sad. If Juliet was stupid enough to fall for the enemy, drink the bottle of poison, and go to sleep in a mausoleum, she deserved whatever she got."

I came across here today and got to know the "StoryCorps" project. This is a project in US to audio record ordinary people. People can bring anyone he/she wants to do an oral history. For 40 minutes they talk about anything they want to talk about. At the end of it, two CDs will be burned with one given to them and another one goes to the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress to become part of an oral history of America. There are really touching stories. One of the stories is told by an old couple, Danny and Annie Perasa, about their very first date. I searched out the script below for reference. BEING MARRIED IS LIKE HAVING A COLOR TELEVISION SET DANNY PERASA: She started to talk. And I said, “Listen, I’m going to deliver a speech.” I said, “At the end, you’re going to want to go home.” I said, “You represent a dirty four-letter word, and that word is ‘love.’” I says, “If we’re going anywhere, we’re going down the aisle, because I’m too tired, too sick and too sore to do any other damned thing.” And she turned around, and she said, “Of course, I’ll marry you.” Then, the next morning I called her as early as I possibly could. ANNIE PERASA: And he always gets up early. DANNY PERASA: To make sure that she hadn’t changed her mind. And she hadn’t. And every year on April 22, around 3 o’clock, I call her and ask her if it was today, would she do it again. And so far, the answer has been the same. ANNIE PERASA: Yeah, 25 times. Yes. DANNY PERASA: You see, the thing of it is, I always feel guilty when I say “I love you” to you, and I say it so often. I say it to remind you that, as dumpy as I am, it’s coming from here. It’s like hearing a beautiful song from a busted old radio, and it’s nice of you to keep the radio around the house. ANNIE PERASA: If I don’t have a note on the kitchen table, I think there’s something wrong. You write a love letter to me every morning. DANNY PERASA: Well, the only thing that could possibly be wrong is I couldn’t find a silly pen. ANNIE PERASA: “To my princess, the weather out today is extremely rainy. I’ll call you at 11:20 in the morning.” DANNY PERASA: It’s a romantic weather report. ANNIE PERASA: “And I love you. I love you. I love you.” DANNY PERASA: When a guy is happily married, no matter what happens at work, no matter what happens in the rest of the day, there’s a shelter when you get home. There’s a knowledge, knowing that you can hug somebody without them throwing you down the stairs, saying “Get your hands off me!” And being married is like having a color television set. You never want to go back to black-and-white.
Another one is this Kaitlyn Sever interviewed by her mom, Lynne Lande, who is a lesbian. I couldn't find the entire script. Just check out the audio clip NICE, BEAUTIFUL, CARING, CAN BE STUBBORN More stories can be found here.

But I think the most unfortunate charater is not Aida or the captain.
It's the princess Amneris who's standing behind them
and find out the truth that the captain doesn't really love her.
This is her song.
I Know the Truth:
How did I come to this? How did I slip and fall? How did I throw half a lifetime away Without any thought at all? This should have been my time It's over, it never began I closed my eyes to so much for so long and I no longer can I try to blame it on fortune Some kind of shift in a star But I know the truth and it haunts me it's flown just a little too far I know the truth and it mocks me I know the truth and it shocks me It's flown just a little too far. Why do I want him still? Why when there's nothing there? How to go on with the rest of my life To pretend I don't care This should've been my time It's over-It never began I closed my eyes to so much for so long and I no longer can I try to blame it on fortune Some kind of twist in my fate But I know the truth and it haunts me I learned it a little too late Oh I know the truth and it mocks me I know the truth and it shocks me I learned it a little too late Too late 2 octobre it's just nothingIt's a song back into the semior high school
I've always been feeling like hiding myself
To avoid seeing and talking to anyone
But only to give up hope and
sink into my pessimistic self
I didn't want to ask for anything if I could
I didn't want to walk on if allowed
I don't fit in my life at all
I wrote an article in senior high that entitled
I wish I could just be wind

5 janvier Tears to ShedIf I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain
If you cut me with a knife it's still the same And I know her heart is beating And I know that I am dead Yet the pain here that I feel Try and tell me it's not real For it seems that I still have a tear to shed If I touch a burning candle I can feel no pain
In the ice or in the sun it's all the same Yet I feel my heart is aching Though it doesn't beat it's breaking And the pain here that I feel Try and tell me it's not real I know that I am dead Yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed ![]() 17 mars About Libra
